The idea for this project originated from the team’s shared fondness for the Tower Defense genre. With a vision to create a dynamic and bold tower defense game, we set out to design something that would not only captivate players but also serve as the perfect launchpad for CocoBoo Games.
Our debut game, OZO (Ocean Zombie Outbreak), turned out to be a monumental endeavor, demanding months of hard work, unwavering commitment, and seamless teamwork. It marked the beginning of our bright journey in game development and publishing. Bringing this vision to life felt nothing short of a miracle—thanks to the perfect team, an awesome game, and the unforgettable experiences we shared along the way.
Some of the most memorable moments and processes we went through included, finalizing our game title, which was decided through a unanimous vote. Our first team meeting, where we got to know each other and began building strong connections. The excitement of seeing the first iteration of our game go live, followed by countless hours of testing and refining in the next rounds of development.
Naturally, there were also challenges along the way, especially as we were a newly formed team with much to learn before we could turn our conceptualized game into reality. However, we never gave up and supported each other, always pushing to give our personal best. The fact that we were able to make OZO what it is today took significant time, learning, and effort— and we are now ready to channel that knowledge into future CocoBoo projects.
